History of establishing the football players’ health assessment center
The start of establishing specialized medical centers in football dates back to 2005 in Zurich, Switzerland. At that time, FIFA’s medical assessment and research center, called F-MARC, granted licenses to medical centers worldwide. The goal was to standardize medical services for football across the globe, supported fully by FIFA financially and morally.

Dr. Zohreh Heratyan, a prominent doctor in football medicine, officially applied for permission to establish a FIFA-approved medical center about eleven years ago. After a year of effort, in 2015, a FIFA representative visited the national team camp and made a checklist. Iran successfully received this important license, and facilities worth about $300,000 were allocated to these specialized sports medical centers.

The EIFMARAK medical test includes thirteen physical examinations aimed at accurately assessing athletes’ physical condition and improving overall health so they can perform at their best with minimal injury risk.
