Biography of Melika Mohammadi, Iranian national women’s football player
Melika Mohammadi was born on April 9, 2000, in Shiraz but lived with her family in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. She began her football career in America and advanced to the U.S. Women’s Football League but accepted the invitation to join the Iranian national team out of love for her country.

Date and cause of Melika Mohammadi’s death
Melika Mohammadi, a player for the national women’s football team and Khatun Bam club, tragically passed away in a car accident on January 3rd along with Behnaz Taherkhani and Zahra Khajavi. The funeral for Melika Mohammadi took place at noon on Tuesday, January 4, 2023, at the Fajr Stadium in Bam with athletes, officials, and friends attending. After the farewells, her body was sent to Shiraz for burial and transportation to the United States.
