First, sterilize three clean jars by placing them in boiling water for about 5 minutes.
- Then, evenly distribute the boneless tuna pieces in fillet form into each jar.
- Next, peel the onions and slice them into rings. Cut the lemons in half, remove the seeds, and slice them into rings of desired thickness.Also, cut the bell peppers in half, remove the seeds, and chop them into strips or cubes.Next, peel the garlic cloves and prepare them in slices or crushed, as you prefer.
- In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, vegetable oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper, and pour this mixture into all jars so that the oil completely covers the ingredients.
- Then, fill a large pot with water. The water should be at a level where it almost reaches the jar edges when you place the jars inside.
- Place the pot over low heat and let it simmer gently for 2 hours. The heat should be low enough that the water only bubbles lightly and doesn’t boil vigorously.
