Habits that cause disorder, so break them for a tidy home.

Think carefully before you start.

If you always want to have a tidy and clean home, consider who will use the space when organizing a closet or shelf and how you can maintain its order. Then, patiently and without rush, place the necessary items for the person who will use that closet or shelf.

Only buy what you need.

Before buying your items, think about whether you really need them. Many buyers purchase lots of items without thinking, only to find out later that they don’t have enough space to store them. This causes their cabinets to get more cluttered and disorganized each time. To prevent disorder in your wardrobe, think before you buy and only purchase items that you truly need.

Throw away useless items.

If you always keep all your belongings and don’t throw things away, your home will gradually become disorganized and there won’t be room for other items. So, discard items you don’t need or donate unused new items to friends, acquaintances, or charity organizations.

Some organizers may cause disorder.

Many of us buy products like sock organizers, shelves, bins, etc., which are meant to create order in our rooms, but often these products end up causing clutter and disorder instead.

Put everything in its place.

If you always put every item you use back in its place and follow a daily cleaning routine, your home won’t become disorganized and cluttered.

How to create order at home

Assign a place for every item.

If you don’t assign a place for each item or don’t know where to store them or whom to give them to, you’ll create disorder in your home. Therefore, make decisions as soon as possible about items you feel are extra.

Stop the habit of hoarding items.

Many of us cannot bear to throw away items we have used in the past or think that some will be useful again someday, leading us to collect everything and create a disordered home. If you want your rooms and closets to be tidy and clean, stop these habits and don’t hold onto everything.

Plan ahead.

If you want your home to always be neat and clean and not get disorganized quickly after cleaning, you need to write a plan that others in the home can follow as well, and family members should be informed about every decision you make to avoid wasting your efforts.

Divide tasks among family members.

If house responsibilities are only on one person, that person will eventually get tired and cannot manage everything. So, if you want a tidy home, talk to your family members and share the tasks among them.
