Jorge Costa, the proud former captain of Porto, dedicated about 15 years of his professional career to this club. He played in 383 matches and scored 25 goals, securing his place in the club’s history. His peak moments include winning the UEFA Champions League title in 2004; during that season, with the captain’s armband under coach José Mourinho, he led his team to a 3-0 victory in the final against Monaco.

Along with the Champions League trophy, Costa’s career includes eight Portuguese league titles, one UEFA Cup, one Intercontinental Cup, five Portuguese Cups, and eight Portuguese Super Cups. At the national level, Costa played 50 matches for the Portuguese national team and participated in the World Cup.
