Bank Hours in Summer 2024: Are Banks Closed on Thursdays?
Because of a new government order to save electricity this summer, the working hours of many organizations, including banks, have changed. From the beginning of summer until the end of September 2024, Thursdays are officially considered days off for all government and private agencies, including banks.
Bank Emergency Branch Operations on Thursdays
Most bank branches are closed on Thursdays, but some emergency branches will stay open to handle urgent needs. Their working hours on Thursdays are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Encouraging Customers to Use Non-Physical Banking Services
Banks and the Ministry of Interior advise customers to use online services like internet banking, mobile apps, phone banking, and ATMs to save energy.
