To use the USSD code #2020*, you do not need to enter the operator’s area code. You can dial directly from any line, whether MCI, Irancell, or RighTel. First, dial #2020* and wait a moment for the service menu to appear.

Then, enter 1 to select “Telephone” and press Send.

Next, choose option 1 for “City” and then enter 3 to “Report Fault.” Enter your landline number along with the area code in the provided field and press Send.

After successful registration, a message will display: “Dear customer, your number has been successfully added to the outage list,” and you will receive a confirmation SMS from the telecommunications company.

Finally, wait for a technician or telecom staff to contact you for the next steps to fix your landline issue and track the outage repair process.
